Best Indie & Rock in Stoke-on-Trent

Wet Wet Wet at Victoria Hall

Wet Wet Wet

Scottish soft-rock icons Wet Wet Wet are heading out on tour in 2025, with a January and February run followed by an Autumn tour with special guest Heather Small from M People! Gaining widespread popularity in the 80s and 90s with a series of hit singles and albums, their greatest success came when their 1994 cover of "Love Is All Around," originally by The Troggs, was featured on the soundtrack of Four Weddings and a Funeral and spent 15 weeks at number 1.

Squeeze at Regent Theatre

Squeeze

Squeeze came to prominence during the New Wave movements of the 1970s and found themselves a modest but loyal following throughout the intervening years. Their biggest chart hits include Cool For Cats and Up The Junction, as well as American chart placers Tempted, Hourglass, and 853-5937. In 2010 they issued Spot the Difference, an album of newly recorded versions of older material. By creating some of the best-loved songs of their generation, they have paved the way for many of today's most successful indie-pop acts.
