The story of the Carpenters
Californian brother and sister Karen and Richard Carpenter had major pop hits throughout the 1970s, particularly with the wonderfully moving songs '(They Long to Be) Close to You' and 'We've Only Just Begun.' The duo also became one of the highest-selling music groups of all time by selling over 100 million records worldwide.

Brilliant Show - Amazing Talent
Please ignore all the rude, ignorant comments and bad reviews, can't believe some people can be so unkind with their comments - this show was brilliant and produced by very talented musicians - Claire did an excellent job performing Karen's songs - the band were absolutely amazing - we had a great night - our seats at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon were excellent too - thoroughly recommend this show ... Very professionally produced show with skilled musicians. There isn’t a lot of story threaded between the songs and I’d say a bit more of their story would improve the overall evening. However, if you go expecting a celebration of the music you won’t be disappointed. Anyone who critiques it as a karaoke evening, needs to stop taking themselves and life so seriously ... Read more
